Day One Trauma Support charity ride with Leigh Day

More Than A Cyclist was invited by campaign sponsor Leigh Day, to take part in a charity bike ride in aid of Day One Trauma Support. Day One is a charity that helps those who have suffered severe injury through trauma with the challenges that they now face.

It was a ride of 50 miles, from the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield to the Leeds General Infirmary to raise funds for Day One. The group consisted of several Leigh Day staff, Mani founder of Black Cyclist Network, representatives of the Cycling and Walking All-Party Parliamentary Group, and Neil & Bruno from the MTAC team.

“It was a long day in the saddle for all of us but we were extremely happy to take on the challenge in support of Day One who do a vital work to help families impacted by the trauma of sudden and serious injury.”

Jane Bedford, one of Leigh Day’s specialist cycling lawyers.
